We Need a Baby, Like BAD!

Rob and I bought this jumperoo a few weeks ago from a co-worker. I got it out yesterday to clean it up and before I put it away, I decided to try it out. Well not me, but a dog! :) Minnie's always game for anything so I put her in it, turned the music on, and let her play! Ha!

Doesn't she look like she's having a BLAST??

She really couldn't figure out what was going on, but she didn't even attempt to get out of it!

Of course Buster couldn't be left out of the fun. He stood by the jumperoo with his tail wagging until I put him in too. Of course, he's a little hefty so he kind of weighed it down. He didn't enjoy too much jumping. haha! I really don't think he wanted to get out.

Yes, we need a baby SOON!!!!! We are totally ready and I know the dogs will be glad to have a baby in the house too! :)

Books Close to My Heart!

If you have, or know someone who has, struggled with infertility, these books are for you!! The Baby Trail by Sinead Moriarty is the story of a woman who has done everything the "correct" way and decides she and her husband are ready for a baby. She, like most women, start trying and assume that she'll be pregnant in a few months. Sound familiar?? It was like reading a book about myself, haha!

The book is a very comical depiction of what women go through trying to get pregnant - and I'll just say it is SPOT ON!! The moods, the calendars, the checking the temperature, it's all in this book!

As much as I loved the first book, I was SO excited to find out there was a second one. This one ended up being even closer to my heart because the main character and her husband decide to adopt!!! The Right Fit discusses ALL of the stuff you go through when trying to adopt - the paperwork, the questions, the MONEY, and the WAIT!!!!

These books really are a great read for anyone, but especially those who have found themselves in either the struggle with infertility and/or the decision to adopt! Check them out!!!

I'll probably re-read The Right Fit during this LONG WAIT for a baby! :)
