Last night Rob and I attended the annual "Taste of Huntsville" event. It was our first time and we will definitely attend this event again! Over 50 restaurants set up at the VBC and give out samples, so you get to try an array of foods. Who knew we would be so stuffed when we left? (Sorry no pictures of the event)
Rob and I went to Tuscaloosa on Saturday to tailgate with my family for the Alabama/Ole Miss game. We ended up hanging out at Donny and Kristy Ray's tent on the Quad. They definitely know how to do it right! We had a great time!
Well it only took us six years to fence in our backyard. And can I say, our dogs have never been happier. We still have to do some landscaping work but as you can see by the pictures, we are loving our new FENCED backyard!
So Rob and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on September 27th in Las Vegas. Rob had a conference there for work so I tagged along. My friend, Ashley (who is living in Denver) flew out and stayed with us for the beginning of the week. She left on Wednesday and then Rob and I celebrated our anniversary for the rest of the time after he was finished with his conference. We actually got to do THREE Cirque du Soleil shows!!! (We are HUGE fans) We had been to Las Vegas previously, and on that trip we saw "O," which was incredible. This trip we started out with "Love," which is the Beatles tribute. The three of us also saw "Mystere," which is also an unbelievable show!
Rob and I finished up the week with "KA," which is the only Cirque du Soleil show that I have seen that actually told an understandable story. As was the case with "O," in "KA" the stage is an integral part of the show!
During the week, Ashley and I visited Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum at The Venetian which was a lot of fun! Here are a few pics from that:

For our anniversary, Rob took me to Tiffany's and bought me a charm bracelet and earrings. Thanks to Ashley we have these pics to commemorate the event! (Did I mention what a great husband I have?!)

So here I am...blogging! I'm not really sure what I have to say or that my life is all that interesting to people. However, everyone continues to tell me that I should have a blog so here it goes! Hopefully, I can come up with something interesting or at least just put up some pictures. (that's really what people want to look at anyway)
